This Wednesday 6-10-15 Florida Governor Rick Scott will hold a special (and rare) signing ceremony for our signature legislation in his office at 4PM. This new law is the most far reaching attempt at Guardianship reform in decades.

AAAPG is deeply honored and grateful to our good friends in the legislature who helped us convince the Legislature that Florida has a huge problem with Abusive Guardianship– especially Kathleen Passidomo and Miguel Diaz de la Portilla and Nancy Detert.

AAAPG’s legislative group (Lidya Abramovici, Doug Franks, Alan and Lynn Sayler, Julie Ferguson and myself) look forward to next session and even more progress with more AAAPG volunteers.
