Brad Geller is an attorney in Michigan who filed a federal lawsuit against the state of Michigan challenging the elder guardianship program.  The lawsuit, United States et al v State of Michigan, is a writ of habeus corpus demanding the release of all guardianized citizens in the state of Michigan. So far, the lawsuit has (narrowly) survived a recommendation to dismiss by magistrate judge.

Most recently, the Judge signed an order to show cause.
