The first session begins at 6 PM Eastern daylight savings time on April 11 and features a variety of experts who will discuss their experiences within the probate system and carefully delineate the difficulties experienced in that system. The second session begins. The next day April 12 at 9 AM with numerous experts from academia, the legal industry, the media and the advocacy community, suggesting methodologies and plans to produce dramatic change and reform within this broken system.

  1. I now live in the Philippines. My German husband who had dementia died in 2016 in Germany. He had a guardian who was less than honest and took advantage of the family. I would like to attend your symposia on 11 and 12 April. Unfortunately, I am 12 hours ahead of US Eastern Standard Time so I can only attend the first one which would be at 6am here in Manila. I have written a short article about our experiences and willing to share it with whomever would be interested.

You can lose your kids, home and freedom without ever seeing a lawyer. It’s a profound injustice.
