New Mexico: Sierra County Probate Judge Pam Smith Forced to Resign

KOB.com Web Staff  October 12, 2017 06:57 PM TRUTH OR CONSEQUENCES, N.M. — A probate judge in southern New Mexico has been forced to resign in the face of some serious criminal charges.  According to documents from the Judicial Standards Commission, Sierra County Probate Judge Pam Smith will never be a judge in New Mexico again.  Documents show she’s accused of using her position to allow her and her husband to take possession of a dead man’s estate. Ohio: Michele Augustine is Freed

Somedays in this frustrating and emotional job we get a victory.  Last month we helped gain the release of Tuscarawas County Ohio resident Michele Augustine from an involuntary adult guardianship.  Michele was conscripted by her brother and sister and Community Mental Healthcare, in an apparent attempt to take over her estate, when they ex parte petitioned for guardianship over Michele in July 2016.  Michele had a successful career with Saks in New York, but due to an injury had decided to [- more...]

Nevada: Judge Charles Hoskins & Commissioner Jon Norheim have yet to be held accountable

Below is the link to the piece KTNV ABC News ran on Tuesday night on guardian Helen Natko’s felony conviction for theft and exploitation of a vulnerable person. Natko’s conviction further indicts Commissioner Jon Norheim and Judge Charles Hoskin for their longstanding bias to insert guardians to insure the exploitation of the estates of the vulnerable brought before them by their court allies. The jury came back this morning with a guilty verdict on both counts against Helen Natko. My wife Terri and I are so very thankful to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police investigators and especially to Clark County Chief Deputy District Attorney J.P. Raman and his assistant Katie.
